β¦ Synopsis
We show that near T--0 there exists a simple power law connection between the superfluid density n,(T) and the pair breaking function f(T). This relation can be used to classify the superfluids. The power law behaviour of the specific heat is different fc,r different classes. Also an exact connection between n,(T) and f(T) is derived, which gives "He and BCS as special cases. Some experimental evidence is presented in the case of high-To for NMR Knight shifts and for heavy fermirn superco .ductor*s for specific heat, ultrasound attenuation, and pressure dependence, which support the theoretical results. These power laws arc obtained assuming that the order parameter is of t So-type. Many ol ~the results obtained are independent of the exact nature ofboson binding. Both 3D and 2D eases are discussed C.N. Yang, Rev. Mod. Phys. 34 (1962) 694.
