Twenty Henna samples were collected and analysed for lead by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrophotometry after a microwave acid digestion procedure. The mean lead concentration was 5.50 p.g g-l, with a range from 1.29 I.tg g-1 to 16.48 lxg g-~. The data did not show a high concentration of le
