Explicit expressions for the self energy of a dislocation segmen t and for the interaction energy between two arbitrary straight dislocation segments in isotropic material are presented. From these expressions the total energy of any dislocation configuration ma.de up of straight segments can be determined. As an example of application we have calculated the appropriate line tension for small bow-outs of a straight dislocation line.

A partir de ces expressions, il est possible de calculer l'energie totale de n'importe quelle configuration de dislocations formee de segments rectilignes. A titre d'exemple, les auteurs ont calcule la tension de ligne dans le cas de petits arcs form&s dans une dislocation rectiligne. Als ein Anwendungsbeispiel haben wir die fiir kleine Ausbuchtungen einer geradlinigen Versetzung giiltige Linienspannung berechnet.
