## Abstract Two models are tested on a shakeβtable. One of the models is a normal reinforced concrete megaframe structure and the other is a multifunctional vibrationβabsorption reinforced concrete megaframe structure in which the laminated rubber bearings are placed between the major frame and the

β¦ Synopsis
manufacturers are currently concerned by the high levels of dispersion of acoustic and vibrational behaviour of mass-produced products. Quality control during the manufacturing process does not appear to be sufficient to reduce this dispersion [1][2][3][4][5]. This subject is currently being invesigated in many research laboratories. The results presented in this article provide an indication of whether or not such dispersion is due to a problem in the reproducibility of experimental measurements, or to intrinsic differences between structures that are supposed to be identical.

Natural frequencies of rectangular plates carrying a concentrated mass are obtained by employing a set of trigonometric beam functions in the Rayleigh-Ritz method. Two models of the energy method using one-term and 100-term model are used in the study. Results obtained from the analytical study usin
Experimental and theoretical models for enhancement of heat transfer from a tube with rings rotating on the external surface were investigated. The rings were rotated on acting vibration forces (hula-hoop phenomenon). The working fluid flowing into the tube was water. The Reynolds number ranged from
