✦ Synopsis

The liquid distribution to the intercompartments in a~e!ectrodialyzer (ED) has been measured. Theoretical distribution coincided basically with determined results is obtained. The flow pattern in contributor and collector, which are mainly composed 0f internal conduits i.e, all the holes in alternately placed gaskets and membranes, is shown to be a flowing model ~here the friction term dominates. Some suggestions are presented to deal with the intercompartmental distribution of nonuniform, in which significant predictions can be made for the ED design.
