✦ Synopsis
Al&act-Quantitative measurements of the ultraviolet absorption spectrum for nitromethanedi-isopropyl carbinol-carbon tetrachloride solutions have been used to show that theaggregatesof nitromethane molecules and the single carbitlol molecules interact thus: ?tMeNO, + carbinol 5 (,aMeNOecarbinol)
with K = 0.7 f 0.2 mole fraction units at 20.5% Other data show that TZ = 2 or 4.
