✦ Synopsis
As PFBC-CC gas turbines work in adverse circumstances, the method of exerting coatings is applied in order to lighten blade corrosion and erosion. A novel test facility of corrosion/erosion materials is set-up and studied. Coatings of three technologies and 14 prescriptions are tested in hot state in this facility. Excellent coatings are selected through analysis with some modern analysis methods such as SEM, TEM, XRD, EDAX and AES as well as corrosion/erosion theory. These coatings have applied in the gas turbine blades of the 15 MWe PFBC-CC pilot plant. Meanwhile, the corrosion/ erosion mechanism of coatings and substrate in the experiment conditions is obtained.
