In order to manufacture the title cokes, liquid hydrocarbons are blown into the crevice in the centre of cokes which are formed by shrinkage after coking in coke ovens. Then the hydrocarbons are thermally decomposed by heat from the cokes in order to adhere the hydrocarbons onto the crevice and pore
