โฆ Synopsis
A method for determining the value of the turbulent mixing length based on measurements of transverse flow velocity fluctuations is proposed. This method is applicable for the boundary layer buffer layer. The results obtained are used to solve the equation of motion for the flow in this region. A method of calculating and generalizing the frequency spectrum of the aerodynamic noise that is generated in the turbulent boundary layer is proposed.
