Abstract
Lesions were produced in the ovaries of Wistar rats by means of a mixture of bovine ovary and complete Freund's adjuvant. The inflammatory infiltrates consisted of lymphocytes and histiocytes. Delayed skin hypersensitivity to ovarian tissue was followed by the appearance of anti‐ovary antibody in the circulation.
