All voluntary blood donor' specimens were routinely tested for anti-HCV antibodies by different type immunoassays (enzyme and chemiluminescence) in our laboratory. To investigate the presence of these antibodies we have used different ABBOTT automats (Quantum II, PPC, AXSYM and PRISM). HCV screening
