✦ Synopsis
The expected waveguide grating router response is calculated analytically in the presence of random, uncorrelated phase and amplitude errors. It is shown that the expected crosstalk, as well as the standard deviation of the crosstalk power, is indirectly proportional to the number of grating arms.
