The velocity of exogenous indol-3yl-acetic acid ([1-(14)C]IAA) transport from the apical buds of intact pea, sunflower and cotton plants was determined from 0.5° C to 47° C. The minimum temperature at which transport occurred varied from 2° C (pea and sunflower) to 7° C (cotton). Above these tempera
