I cannot add much that has not been said by the other reviewers, except that I own hundreds of commentaries and this is the best I have ever read. It is technical relative to the events of Exodus and their meaning, Jesus focused and conservative, yet it reads like a novel. It was so helpful to me that I E-mailed Dr. Ryken and asked him to write a commentary on Ezekiel and Isaiah.Five stars does not do it justice.
