The existence and multiplicity results are obtained for solutions of a class of the Dirichlet problem for semilinear elliptic equations by the least action principle and the minimax methods, respectively.

## Abstract This paper deals with the initial and boundary value problem for a singular nonlinear parabolic equation. The existence of solutions is established by parabolic regularization. Some properties of solutions, for instance localization and large time behaviour are also discussed. Copyright
In this paper, we investigate a class of pseudo-parabolic equations. Such equations model two-phase flow in porous media where dynamic effects are included in the capillary pressure. The existence and uniqueness of a weak solution are proved, and error estimates for an Euler implicit time discretiza
