By using the fixed-point index theory, several theorems of existence of positive solutions for second-order m-point boundary value problem with the first derivative are obtained, where the nonlinear term may be noncontinuous. An example illustrating the main results is given.

## a b s t r a c t In this paper, we discuss four-point boundary value problems for impulsive second order differential equations with deviating arguments. We investigate separately, cases when arguments are of delayed or advanced types. We formulate sufficient conditions under which our problems h
In this paper, by using the Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem, we establish an existence criterion for triple positive solutions of the nonlinear fourth-order two-point boundary value problem An example is also included to demonstrate the result we obtained.
