We consider the nonlinear neutral differential equations. This work contains some sufficient conditions for the existence of a positive solution which is bounded with exponential functions. The case when the solution converges to zero is also treated.

Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive solutions of a nonlinear differential equation. Relations between this equation and an advanced type nonlinear differential equation are also discussed. แฎ 1998 Aca- demic Press y t G t . The solutions vanishing in some ne
In this paper, we consider the following higher-order neutral functional differential equations with positive and negative coefficients: -& [z(t) + cx (t -T)l + (-1) \*+l [P(t)?2 (t -CT) -Q(t)2 (t -a)] = 0, t 2 to, where n > 1 is an integer, c E R, ~,o,6 E W+, and P,Q E C([to,m),W+), IR+ = [O ,oo).
We obtain an existence theorem for monotone positive solutions of nonlinear second-order ordinary di erential equations by using the Schauder-Tikhonov รฟxed point theorem. The result can also be applied to prove the existence of positive solutions of certain semilinear elliptic equations in R n (n ยฟ
