✦ Synopsis
The exclusive cross section of the 'Li(Cu, n) reaction was measured with high statistics in the energy region from E,, = 0.9 MeV to 2.8 MeV of astrophysical interest by using a highly efficient detection system and a highly pure low-energy 'Li-beam. The preliminary results show that the total cross section is about 5 times larger than the inverse cross section of the neutron capture of "B. The excitation energy spectrum in the residual nucleus "B is also shown.
