✦ Synopsis


The Bethe-Salpeter equation for two-dimensional excitons is solved in the low-density limit. The analysis of the collective modes leads to a spectrum of the Bogolubov type. It was found that the critical temperature of the Kosterlitz-Thouless phase transition to exciton superfluidity scales linearly with the exciton density.
