Using = 40 fs pulses we have observed coherent nuclear motions in intact membrane bound photosynthetic light-harvesting pigment-protein complexes. Computer simulations based on the harmonic Franck-Condon approximation and the Langevin equation describe qualitatively well the temperature and pulse wa
