Thennochromic shifts of pyrene excimer were obtained in cyclohexane (25-60'(Z) and ethanol (25-70%). The observed shifts are due to changes in polarinability between the states involved in the electronic transition. The parameters obtained from thermoehromic shifts agree with the ones calculated fro
