✦ Synopsis


The excess volumes of (an isomer of butanol +1 -chlorobutane) were determined with an Anton-Paar densimeter at the temperatures (T=298.15 \mathrm{~K}) and (313.15 \mathrm{~K}). Excess volumes are positive over the whole composition range, except for mixtures containing butan-1-ol at both temperatures and 2-methylpropan-1-ol at (298.15 \mathrm{~K}) in which (V_{\mathrm{m}}^{\mathrm{E}}) shows negative values at low mole fractions of (\mathrm{Cl}\left(\mathrm{CH}{2}\right){3} \mathrm{CH}_{3}).
