โฆ Synopsis
Excess molar enthalpies of aqueous solutions of diethanolamine, methyldiethanolamine, ethyldiethanolamine, and n-butyldiethanolamine have been measured at temperatures from (298.15 to 338.18) K. Excess molar enthalpies of these mixtures depend on the size of the alkyl groups attached to the nitrogen atom of the alkyldiethanolamine. A similar effect has been found for the excess molar volumes of these aqueous mixtures.

Excess molar enthalpies and excess molar volumes for (butanenitrile + acetic acid, or propanoic acid, or butanoic acid, or 2-methylpropanoic acid, or pentanoic acid, or 3-methylbutanoic acid) at T = 298.15 K are presented. The excess molar enthalpy values are found to be positive for all six systems

The kinematic viscosity ฮฝ for (ethane-1,2-diol + 1,2-dimethoxyethane + water) was measured at 14 different ternary compositions covering the whole miscibility field, and at 19 temperatures in the range 263.15 T / K 353.15. The experimental values were fitted using empirical equations of the type ฮฝ
Measurements of excess molar enthalpies at the temperature 298.15 K in a flow microcalorimeter, are reported for the ternary mixtures where ฮฝ = 5 and 6. Smooth representations of the results are described and used to construct constant-enthalpy contours on Roozeboom diagrams. It is shown that usefu
