In a recent study we showed that the two-fluid (TF) formulation can be used in the direct numerical simulation (DNS) of bubble-(or particle-) laden decaying isotropic turbulence with considerable saving in CPU-time and memory as compared to the trajectory approach employed by many researchers. In th
