✦ Synopsis
In this work, we apply He's frequency formulation to search for the solution to nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Three examples are given and the solutions obtained are in good accordance with Wazwaz's solution [Abdul-Majid Wazwaz, A study on linear and nonlinear Schrodinger equations by the variational iteration method, Chaos Solitons Fractals 37 (4) (2008) 1136-1142]. It is shown that He's frequency formulation is of utter straightforward and effective.
