✦ Synopsis


A direct series method to find exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear PDEs is appfied to Hirota's system of coupled Korteweg-de Vries equations and to the sine-Gordon equation. The straightforward but lengthy algebraic computations to obtain single and multi-soliton solutions can be carried out with a symbolic manipulation package such as MACSYMA.

## Abstract In this study, traveling wave solutions of the modified regularized long wave (MRLW) equation are simulated by using the meshless method based on collocation with well‐known radial basis functions. The method is tested for three test problems which are single solitary wave motion, inter
