The high-T c mechanism of the oxide superconductors has been studied by measuring optical reflection spectra over a wide wavelength range at various temperatures. The superconducting gap was found at 225 cm L in Ba2YCu3068 which give the value 3.57 of 2A/k 8T c. Two gaps were found in Lai 85Sr0 ~sCu

To study the superconducting-gap symmetry in electron-doped HTSC, we performed a high-resolution ARPES on Pr 0.89 LaCe 0.11 -CuO 4 (optimally-doped, T c = 26 K). Obtained momentum dependence of the superconducting gap is basically consistent with the d x 2 ร€y 2 -wave symmetry, but obviously deviates
