✦ Synopsis

Abstract

We consider diblock copolymer melts in the regime that the volume fraction of one component is small. In this regime microphase separation results in the formation of a large number of small spherical particles. We present here a simple method to derive effective evolution equations for the motion of such particles that is based on the gradient flow structure of the underlying free boundary problem (Β© 2011 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
