✦ Synopsis

As the reliability criterions of glass forming ability (GFA) for Fe(Co)-based bulk metallic glasses (BMGs), the temperature interval of the supercooled liquid region T xg , the reduced glass transition temperature T rg and the parameter were evaluated by the linear regression with the critical diameter Z c of rod samples. According to the statistical correlation parameter R 2 , the reliability of these criterions for Fe(Co)-based BMGs can be expressed as T xg T rg < , which is very similar with the referenced Zr-based BMGs. Among these criterions, the parameter is an universal and the most reliable criterion for the Zr-, La-, Mg-, Pd-, Ti-(referenced data) and Fe(Co)-based BMG systems.
