## A reversjble lithium/sulphur high temperature cell is described in which the cathode consists of elemental sulphur absorbed in a zeolitc 4A matrix. A lithium-aluminium alloy is used for the anode and the electrolyte is a molten ionic salt consisting of a LiI-KI eutectic (m.p. 260"). The cell wa

β¦ Synopsis
The lithium ionic conductivity of materials prepared by reaction of lithium iodide with anhydrous and hydrated aluminum sulfate has been investigated by a.c. conductivity and n.m.r, techniques. The a.c. measurements indicated thermally activated diffusion with an activation energy of 8.3 kcal/ tool. From 7Li n.m.r., the characteristic time of motion, re, was determined from the observed line width at a given temperature. The plot of log re as a function of 1/T is linear and gives an activation energy of 6.3 kcal/mol.

In this study, we prepare a kind of solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) based on N-ethyl-N -methyl imidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMIBF 4 ), LiBF 4 and poly(vinylidene difluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) [P(VdF-HFP)] copolymer. The resultant SPE displays high thermal stability above 300 β’ C and high room
A higher power, thin-fi lm lithium-ion electrolyte has been developed on copper substrates, aimed at mass-produced solid-state lithium batteries. Utilizing a high-temperature thermodynamic equilibrium processing strategy that enables co-fi ring of oxides and base metals, we present a means to integr
