## Abstract From 16 samples of traditional fermented koumiss collected in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, forty‐eight lactobacilli strains were isolated and phenotypically characterized by their abilities to ferment different carbohydrates and by additional biochemical tests. The dominan
