## Abstract Electron tunneling through a spin‐split discrete level of an interacting quantum dot coupled to two ferromagnetic electrodes with non‐collinear magnetizations is investigated theoretically by means of the nonequilibrium Green function approach. It is shown that the spin splitting of the
