✦ Synopsis


The ®rst meeting of the European Network of Community Psychology (ENCP) was held in Starnberg/Munich, Germany, 28±30 June 1996. The following aims were agreed: promotion of community psychology within the wider discipline through methodological development, individual and collaborative research and publication; promotion of training in skills relevant to community psychological practice; in¯uence on social policy; and exchange of knowledge and experience regarding critical questions and issues. Members decided to organize an annual Business Meeting and a biennial conference to facilitate the achievement of these aims.
