D'autre part, les variations de la densite en fonction de la composition des melanges montrent un &cart avec la linkaritb qui prCsente un maximum pour une concentration en PS voisine de 60%. Ce maximum peut Ctre attribut g un maximum du taux de vide dans les ichantillons pour cette concentration.

Abstract-IExperiments
were performed on polyethylene/polystyrene blends with various compositions. The degree of crystallinity was determined from X-ray diffraction patterns. Furthermore, measurements of density are carried out as a function of blend composition. The difference with a linear variation goes through a maximum for a 60% PS blend. This result is similar to previous ultrasonic measurements performed on these blends. It may be attributed to the presence of voids in the blends.
