✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The mass spectra of 27 mono‐, di‐ and trisubstituted alkyl‐thiazoles are reported and discussed. The predominant fragmentation is characterized by the loss of R^2^CN with formation of a thiiren‐ion and the β‐cleavage with respect to the cyclic double bonds.
