โœฆ Synopsis

This paper considers the problem of estimating the population total when the population size is unknown. A sampling design, in which units are selected with equal probability, are sequentially marked and then returned back until a รฟxed number of repetitions occur, has been considered. This allows the estimation of the population size as well as the population total. A formula for conรฟdence intervals for the population total is derived along with an approximately unbiased estimator for the variance of the estimator of the population total.

## Abstract The Cochranโ€“Armitage (CA) linear trend test for proportions is often used for genotypeโ€based analysis of candidate gene association. Depending on the underlying genetic mode of inheritance, the use of modelโ€specific scores maximises the power. Commonly, the underlying genetic model, __i

In this paper properties of an estimator of the population mean on current occasion under successive sampling scheme, when various weights (9h.s) and regression coefficients (BA.h-1) are estimated for A ~2 , have been studied. Some empirical results on the estimation of the variance of an unbiased e
