β¦ Synopsis
Estimation of stature from various foot and shoe measurements with the help of statistical methods is well known. However, very little work has been reported on stature determination from foot and shoe stride lengths. As the stride length of a person is related to the height of the person and speed at which he is walking, certain constants and equations for stature determination from stride length can be formulated.
