✦ Synopsis

It was shown that the multi-walled carbon nanotubes at concentrations up to 25 mg/ml do not show toxic effects on rat erythrocytes and thymocytes in cell suspension, while at concentration 50 mg/ml cause the acceleration of erythrocyte hemolysis, decrease of the number of viable thymocytes in suspension and inhibition of mitochondrial electron-transporting chain.
