✦ Synopsis

Oxygen enriched with "0 has been used IO identify 0; formed from 2 rypcs of Nap complcses produced in gmma-irradiated and Nn-reduced NaY zcolite. respectively. The difference in the thermal stability of rhe 2 types of N$ complescs is discussed. In the 02 ion, the unpaired electron interacts with both oxygen nuclei equally with a hypertine constant nxx = 76 G. The reactivity of "0; ions towards I602 and SO2 is nlso investigated and it is concluded that isotopic exchange and replacement, respectively, take place.
