CrystalsofCs2NaYC16 dopedwith Gda+wereinvestigated using EPR and ENDOR spectroscpy. The Gd 3+ site symmetry at 4.2 K is found to be cubic. The lattice does not undergo a structural phase change between 300 and 4.2 K. Literature ENDOR data for Cs2NaYC16 doped with Ce a+ are re-interpreted.
