Abstract
Durch Bromcyan‐Abbau des Dihydro‐erysotrins (IV) wurde eine Rase C~18~H~21~O~2~N (V) erhalten, welche bei der Oxydation mit Kaliumpermanganat die 4, 5‐Dimethoxy‐diphensäure (VI) gab. Diese Ergebnisse bestätigten die früher vorgeschlagenen Formeln Ia‐Id für die aromatischen Erythrina‐Alkaloide.
