✦ Synopsis
Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty is a commonly performed procedure. The clinical success of such a procedure is determined by the combination of the postprocedure angiographic appearance and the pressure gradient across the lesion. This case demonstrates the importance of recognizing the anatomical variation if proper pressure measurements are to be obtained.
