The graph (b) of Fig. 1 must be replaced by the graph attached. In this context the discussion on page 54 must be modified from '' Both atoms ---is 50%'' to ''Both atoms exchange their respective energies with that of a photon pair and become completely in-phase. The emission of photon-pair with absolute certainty (100% probability) is possible only when both atoms are in their ground state. The maximum probability of atom-1 and atom-2 in the excited state is 50%''.
