We investigate the bilayer quantum Hall state at total Landau level filling factor n ¼ 1, which is the best system to study the pseudospin ferromagnetism, where pseudospin represents the layer degree of freedom. We found an anisotropic magnetoconductivity near the commensurate-incommensurate phase t
