FIGURE 3 -Representative results of DNA methyltransferase expression in embryonal and alveolar rhabdomyosarcomas, assayed by the standardized duplex reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification. Levels of DNA methyltransferase mRNA in embryonal (E2, E6, E14, E18, E20, E22 and E31) and alveolar (A4, A5, A16 and A18) rhabdomyosarcomas were quanitifed by phosphorimaging and normalized to the co-amplified -actin. Two normal muscle samples (NM-2 and NM-6) were included in the same run of the RT-PCR assay.
