✦ Synopsis
THE fifth edition of this well-known atlas is a magnificent volume with some 665 illustrations. The drawings, many of which are original, are excellent and have been well produced. Most of the pictures have been taken from dissections which are in the Anatomy Museum of the University of Toronto.
Besides the normal human anatomy there are many illustrations of abnormal relations of organs and congenital abnormalities. This makes a most comprehensive and informative atlas.
The volume will not only interest the medical student and the anatomist and the surgeon, but will form a reference volume for nurses, physiotherapists, radiologists, and radiographers.
It should be in every medical library, and also in every public library.
A wonderful production.
