✦ Synopsis
This book is about the role of ergonomics in the promotion of health and safety at work. It is particularly concerned with work-related musculoskeletal disorders and the range of conditions affecting the neck, shoulder and upper limbs which have come to be known as 'repetitive strain injuries'. Related issues, such as stress, occupational accidents and the role of human error in complex man-made systems, are also discussed.
