experts is not only desirable and possible but also enthusiastically encouraged by both groups. Indeed, all the indications pointed to an increase in such communication. The productive atmosphere of the seminar is thought to have been enhanced by the limitation on attendance, the selection of participants actively engaged in the disciplines involved, the provision of ample discussion and the absence of published proceedings. Undoubtedly, the seminar also benifited from the presence of participants from the USA and France as well as the UK.
