Conferences Ergonomics and cooker design A Seminar organised by the Institute for Consumer Ergonomics on 3 September 1981 at Loughborough
The Institute for Consumer Ergonomics held a one day seminar to demonstrate how ergonomics principles may be incorporated in all aspects of domestic cooker design and operation. Representatives of the maj or manufacturers of gas and electric cookers, the Gas and Electricity Councils and other interested consumer bodies were invited. The press were specifically excluded as we wished to encourage discussion between companies. A total of 21 delegates attended this successful seminar.
