✦ Synopsis

Two new eremophilanolides, eremofarfugin A and eremopetasitenin B 3 , have been isolated from the methanol extract of fresh rhizomes of Farfugium japonicum (Compositae) and their structures have been determined on the basis of high resolution 2D NMR analysis.
